The design brief was to design a tranquil, lush water garden with the emphasis being on plant form and texture.

Mr and Mrs Lakin's small side garden in Sandbach, Cheshire.
The brief was to transform the small 5m x 10m space into a more private, relaxing area.

The area was unused and lacked any character.

The small, sunny area was transformed with a mediterranean theme.

Trellis work and teracotta urns and planters provide privacy and make the most of the limited space.
